Frequently asked questions

How does PriceWatcher work?

You paste a product or listing URL, choose what to track (price, stock, or listing changes), and we check the page on a schedule that matches your plan. If something changes, you get an email alert.

Which websites does PriceWatcher support?

PriceWatcher works on most public product pages, marketplace listings, and classified ads where price and availability are visible without login. If a site blocks automated access or requires a login, we may not be able to track it reliably.

Is PriceWatcher free?

Yes — the Free plan lets you track up to 5 URLs with daily checks and email alerts, with no time limit and no credit card required.

How often does PriceWatcher check prices?

Free plan checks once per day. Starter, Pro, and Business plans run checks more frequently, with Business offering the highest check frequency for time-sensitive tracking.

Can I track stock and back-in-stock alerts?

Yes. You can choose to be notified when an out-of-stock item becomes available again, in addition to (or instead of) price drops.

Can I track competitor prices on marketplaces?

Yes. Resellers and small ecommerce teams use PriceWatcher to monitor competitor product prices and marketplace listings without checking manually.

What happens if a listing is removed?

PriceWatcher detects when a listing is no longer available and sends you a listing-removed alert. This is useful for marketplace buyers watching used goods.

Do I need to install anything?

No. PriceWatcher runs entirely in the cloud. You only need a web browser to sign in and a working email address to receive alerts.

How do I sign in?

You can sign in with a magic link sent to your email, or with Google. No password to remember.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled from your account settings. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the current billing period and then fall back to the Free plan.
